AFP Mini-Med/90 Automatic X-ray Processor
The AFP Mini-Med/90 Automatic X-ray Processor is built and priced to make in-house film development cost-effective for small offices, clinics, satellite health care facilities and mobile installations. Special versions of this processor are available for those sites desiring to specialize in mammographic film processing. The Mini-Medical has been designed to include many time, space, and money saving features found in higher priced models. The Mini-Medical is setting a new standard for table top film processors.
Features include:
- Simple Operation: Single switch activation
- Space Saving Size: Measuring only 33" x 22" x 24" overall with only a 21" footprint. Processed film exits from the top, back to the operator, allowing the unit to fit handily into smaller spaces
- Reliable: AFP designed drive system and a molded plastic uni-body design tank
- Quick and versatile: The Mini-Medical handles films as small as 4" x 4" and as large as 14" x 36", and can process up to 90 14" x 17" films per hour
- Developer Level and Temperature Indicator: Two separate indicator lights let the operator know the developer solution is at the proper level and that it has reached the optimum temperature for film processing
- Automatic Chemical Replenisher: Electronic activating system replenishes solutions automatically keeping all chemicals used in the Mini-Medical at peak operating efficiency
- Interlocking Crossover: Films travel from tank to tank with minimum exposure to air
- Automatic Wash Water Control: Minimizes water consumption by eliminating flow during standby mode. Approximately 1 pint of fresh water is added during each "jog" cycle to eliminate algae problems associated with standing water
- Infrared Dryer: Energy efficient "IR heat lamps" dry each film quickly and quietly
- Simple Installation: Runs on standard 115V 15A current. Requires only a cold water line connection
- Automatic Standby: During periods of inactivity, the drive motor and pumps shut off automatically reducing energy consumption and mechanical wear
- Light Proof Covered Feed Tray: Reduces time in the dark
- Solid State Circuitry: Modular, state-of-the-art electronics are designed to assure reliable operation with minimal start-up and reset times
